Backbeat Concerts supports:
The 9th Annual Farm Concert
Sunday, August 29, 2010 ~ 5:00-9:00 pm
Featuring ... Pete Huttlinger & Friends. Fresh off of gigs at the Eric Clapton Guitar Festival and Carnegie Hall, Pete will make his 3rd Farm Concert appearance this year. In addition to his stunning solo guitar wizardry, prepare to take in the Pete Huttlinger Band - a highly polished ensemble that promises to play in tune and dress nicely. You might recognize some of the band members - they're almost famous. www.petehuttlinger.com
With Special Guests-- Gary McMahan, John Moore, and Butch Hause. Gary's cameo at last year's concert brought down the house. After extensive repairs, we decided to give the singing, yodeling cowboy a full set. A formidable songwriter, Gary's tunes have been recorded by Ian Tyson, the late Chris LeDoux and a host of Cowboy and Western entertainers. "The Old Double Diamond" is a McMahan treasure, and one of the best cowboy songs ever written. John Moore is a world-class horse trainer that just happens to be one of the finest mandolin and guitar pickers on the planet. And Butch Hause is ... well, the bass player. www.singingcowboy.com
The Haunted Windchimes. We got to record an album for this group from Pueblo, and were blown away at their lyrical prowess, their amazing three-part vocals and their musicianship. The 'Chimes defy comparison-we think you'll agree. www.hauntedwindchines.com
